Using RDF / Semantic Web modules

Lin Clark 22 August 2010
Type:  BOF session

Learn how to add features from Facebook's Open Graph protocol, add additional RDFa metadata to your page with RDF UI, how to use Views to query RDF data on other Web sites with SPARQL Views, and other cool, SemWebby things.

This is a demonstration and Q&A session where you'll see how to use different SemWeb modules to link sites together, pull data from remote datasets, and make data available on the Web of Data.

Modules include:
Open Graph Protocol - Connects your pages to Facebook's graph
RDF UI - Allows you to specify which RDF term to use for each form field on content entry forms.
SPARQL Views - An extension for Views 3 that allows you to query remote data sources.

A code of conduct available for the next DrupalCon?

Gilles Bailleux 21 August 2010
Type:  BOF session

Goals, roles, composition, organization, power and status of local and national Drupal communities: towards a code of conduct for board members

You may have noticed this recent change on the labor market: companies do not recruit Drupalers anymore, they pay Drupal training for their own employees. Why? Simply because there is no more Drupaler available to recruit. And with the near release of Drupal 7, you do not have to be a visionary to predict that Drupal is entering a new era of fierce expansion.
