Come and learn the basics of Git so you'll be ready for the Great Git Migration. Through hands-on interaction with Git you'll learn the basics of cloning a repository, refreshing it, changing branches, creating and applying a patch.

Requirements:
An internet-connected computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux, or VAX/VMS if it has Git)
Git installed and command-line access to it
The patch tool
If you don't have these things, we'll help you set them up.
The resources page in the presentation has links to places to get you started on a Git install.
Anybody is welcome to this.
It might be too high level for you if you completely hate the command line.
It might be too low level for you if you've done anything with git.
