Let's discuss. I have some ideas of where it's slow (lots of Drupal render...) and I would love to come up with solutions that keep flexibility but makes it speedier.
I do not know why a Birds of a Feather session would require fifty words so I am adding some fluff.
I am 10 months in to being full time on Drupal websites
Currently I'm looking after 8 drupal sites with a 9th as a backoffice all in Drupal 4.7
I am currently developing a brand new system in Drupal 6 using Domain Access to have 1 code base and ubercart for our ecommerce. The site will also me Multilinguale.
Been around Europe for quite some time. Studied Computational Logic (think Semantic Web). Then was drowning in XML and JAVA related technologies. Finally got to work on integration projects using open source components. Fell in love with Drupal's aura and now getting into ecommerce.
Recently I became self-employed, and now looking for fun projects in the start-up spirit where independent, flexible and goal oriented people are needed.
This session will cover how Drupal can be used by activists, community organizers and other small teams of people (in any setting) to manage projects effectively. I'd love to discuss this with everyone interested in activism, project management and Drupal.
