I started building web software professionally back in 1995 and have experienced many different technologies, ways of building sites and companies along the way. With a lot of previous experience in building online communities Drupal came into my attention in 2004 and I built my first sites using it. After gradually replacing many different platforms with Drupal I finally decided to go all Drupal a few years ago.

Chris is VP engineering at Acquia where he manages engineering and product management for Acquia's product lines including Drupal Gardens, Acquia Hosting, Acquia Drupal, the Acquia Network, Acquia Search and the Acquia Drupal Stack Installers. Chris joined Acquia from Vertical Communications, where he managed engineering for several IP PBX and call center products, and lead a large adoption of Scrum. Prior to Vertical, Chris managed engineering at Stylus Innovation, a telephony toolkit startup that was sold to Artisoft.
