Let's discuss. I have some ideas of where it's slow (lots of Drupal render...) and I would love to come up with solutions that keep flexibility but makes it speedier.

I do not know why a Birds of a Feather session would require fifty words so I am adding some fluff.

This session will cover how Drupal can be used by activists, community organizers and other small teams of people (in any setting) to manage projects effectively. I'd love to discuss this with everyone interested in activism, project management and Drupal.

The session will cover:

• How activists can get the most out of Drupal by using a variety of tools
• What the Drupal community can do to facilitate better project management tools for activists
• When CiviCRM, Open Atrium and Activism Labs are each most suitable for a site

There is a lot happening with Aegir these days.

The BoF will provide an excellent opportunity for users and developers to get together and talk about the project. What are the long terms plans are for Aegir? How are you using Aegir? How are others using it? What can we learn from each other? The questions along with others will be raised and (hopefully) answered during the session.

Tell us what you want from Drupal Gardens re: features, modules, themes and APIs. We will give a high level overview of the Drupal Gardens roadmap and will have an open discussion. Come prepared with your top 1-2 wish list items and especially why you need them.

Many organisations in the not-for-profit sector are adopting Drupal as their CMS of choice. Longstanding users in the UK include Amnesty International and Greenpeace UK. So big is the NGO/Drupal space in the UK, that there's a dedicated meetup group on drupal.org.uk for people interested in it.

It's all about place. There's a lot going on in the Drupal-verse these days that are focusing on geo-related technologies. Let's discuss the projects that exists, upcoming ones, and where we should go as a community!

This session is reserved for short 5-minute lightning talks. If you want to give a talk or present your cool Drupal project, please register for a speaker slot at the registration desk in the lobby. To make this session run as smooth as possible, you won't be able to use your own laptop (to cut down on the time used to get from one speaker to the next). Bring your presentation on a USB stick or structure it in such a way that you only need a webbrowser to support your talk.

The move towards decentralising social activity on the web is gaining ground with efforts such as Ostatus providing a common set of standards and concepts for people to debate and hopefully, eventually agree on.

Drupal - as one of the most popular and forward thinking CMSs should take front-stage in this effort. The aim of this meeting is to bring together people interested in the Federated Social Web and in technologies such as Activity Streams, Pubsubhubbub, Salmon and WebFinger and plan how to make Drupal a fully qualified member of the federated social web.

Up until now, CRMs have been accessible through API modules, or partially integrated such as CiviCRM. Creating a Drupal CRM will be no easy task, so we're gathering to discuss how to proceed with this mammoth undertaking.

The CRM will be developed for Drupal 7 and, resources permitting, be backported to Drupal 6.

The key issues for discussion:
